China is the world's fastest growing major economy, boasting 91.9 billion dollars of trade with the United States alone.1 "With 1.2 billion people and the world's fastest growing major economy, China is hailed as potentially the 'market of all markets,' which has helped to attract investments from around the world at such a magnitude that China is now the second largest recipient of foreign capital (next only to the United States)"2 Also, China ranked as the world's second largest economy is 2010. China is the world's largest exporter and second largest importer of goods in the world.3
This shows the importance of the emerging Chinese market, and why this is an exciting time for trade with China. With this fast paced growth, however, we need to make sure we can keep up the pace. With any growing infrastructure, we need to make sure that we are handling this growth properly. Part of our role & function as a company is to create a way to ensure that with this growth in trade, we can ensure the quality of our members' Chinese exports.
